Samsung Gear Live Smartwatch Reviews

Samsung has filed various trademarks under the ‘Gear’ name over the last few months, one of those if for the Samsung Gear Live, which is expected to be a new smartwatch.

Looks like Samsung's rumoured Gear-like smartwatch running Android Wear OS is slowly taking some shape after all, as a new set of rumours bring some more details right before the Google I/O 2014 event.

Samsung Gear Live is the first smartwatch of the South Korean company running Android Wear. It was officially announced at Google I/O this summer and, for the time being, is Samsung’s only Android Wear smartwatch available for purchase.

Gear Live has IP67 certification and it can be bought on either Black or Wine Red color options. It has a heart rate monitor that tracks your activity and syncs it with Samsung’s S Health, Google’s Fit, and other compatible apps.

It boasts about an always-on 1.6-inch Super AMOLED display, while being powered by a Snapdragon 400 CPU. It also integrates 4 GB of internal storage, 512 MB of RAM, a 300 mAh battery, while weighing in at 59 grams.
