How To Delete All Texts From Messages App On iPhone With A Single Tap

One thing that has consistently managed to baffle and bamboozle users since the launch of the iPhone is the lack of the ability to mass delete messages and mails from the device. When sending and receiving texts or iMessages, it isn’t long before the Messages app inbox has a seemingly endless list of conversations, enough to drive me crazy.

Inputting text on the iPhone can be a tedious task. It’s not so much the typing. But due to limited display space, editing can be irksome. It seems like doing things such as copying or deleting text are more complicated than they need to be.

One new jailbreak tweak makes it incredibly easy to quickly delete all text inputted within the Messages app On iPhone. The package, called Triple Tap to Clear, allows users to mass delete the contents of the Messages app’s text field by performing a “triple tap” of the iPhone’s screen, as its name suggests.

With the stock Messaging App on the iPhone you do not have the option to make a group and send a single text message to all of them at once, you also do not have the right to mark selected or delete all messages at once and a couple of other minor problems

The tweak lets you hide all SMS threads with a single tap, apple iphone configure automatic replies for incoming messages, and anyone who has ever had to delete all message threads individually before selling an iPhone is sure to appreciate the “Clean All SMS” button.

The iPhone treats text messages as conversations, showing the messages you send and receive in word balloons. You can delete an entire conversation or just individual text messages within a conversation

We don’t have control over the things that other people send to us on our iPhone 5. This is an unfortunate reality of a device that can be contacted by anyone that has your phone number. But you may be engaged in a conversation with a friend or family member, and they send you a text message that you do not want to leave on your phone.
