Samsung Galaxy J1 Specifications Leaked

Specifications of an upcoming entry-level Samsung Smartphone has been leaked. The Samsung Galaxy J1 (SM-J100) will carry a 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) LCD display, 5 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras, 1 GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 1.2 GHz quad-core Marvell PXA1908 chipset. Despite being an entry-level device, it will have 4G LTE support. The rest of the specs include an 1,850 mAh battery, 4 GB internal storage and an 8.9mm thick body.

Along with 4GB of expandable internal storage, it will have 1 GB RAM, 4G LTE support, and a 1,850 mAh battery. The J1 will launch running Android 4.4 KitKat.The new smartphone’s dimensions are 129 x 68 x 8.9 mm, and it weighs 123g. It’s unclear when the Galaxy J1 will be made official, but at this point we’re betting you’ll have to wait until 2015 for that to happen.

Samsung Electronics is also planning to launch a new sub-$100 smartphone running on its Tizen operating system in India this month. Samsung is expected to hold a press conference on this month to launch its Tizen smartphone, to be called the Z1. The device passed FCC certification in October.

Samsung had initially planned to launch a Tizen smartphone in Russia in the third quarter but scrapped the plan. The firm said at the time that it wanted to further enhance the ecosystem behind Tizen. Only a handful of devices, including the firm’s smart watch products currently run on the platform.
