HTC Desire 526G+ Dual SIM Smartphone Review

HTC has just launched its latest budget aimed smartphone, the Desire 526G+ Dual SIM in India. The HTC Desire 526G+ Dual SIM packs in some pretty decent specs for its price, so it HTC fans wanting a good budget smartphone from the company should be pleased.

Design

HTC Desire 526G+ has a compact design, with a light plastic case which is easily fit in the palm of your hand. The phone has a capacitive touch screen is quite responsive, multitouch brings the exciting experience when playing games. HTC Desire 526G+ has a 4.7-inch display using a qHD resolution up to 2560×1440 pixels with a pixel density of 234ppi, capable of displaying up to 16 million colors.

Connectivity

Connectivity options on the Desire 526G+ Dual SIM smartphone include 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and FM radio. A 2000mAh battery backs the handset. It measures at 139.8×69.65×9.8 mm, and weighs 154 grams. It will be available in a Black and White colour variants. HTC is also touting the availability of BlinkFeed, Video Highlights, and Offline Reading mode on the smartphone.

The phone is equipped with 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front facing camera for capture selfies and video calling. Camera features LED flash, auto focus, geo tagging, digital zoom, touch focus, panorama, HDR, 1080p video recording and video calling.

The HTC Desire 526G+ Dual SIM is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor and runs the Android 4.4 KitKat, and the intuitive HTC Sense UI. Both variants have 1GB of RAM and offer 8GB and 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB with microSD slot. These are decent enough specifications enabling satisfactory multi-tasking capacity and a sizeable processing power, making it good value for money.
