Samsung Galaxy J1 Specifications Leaked

Specifications of an upcoming entry-level Samsung Smartphone has been leaked. The Samsung Galaxy J1 (SM-J100) will carry a 4.3-inch WVGA (800 x 480) LCD display, 5 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras, 1 GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 1.2 GHz quad-core Marvell PXA1908 chipset. Despite being an entry-level device, it will have 4G LTE support. The rest of the specs include an 1,850 mAh battery, 4 GB internal storage and an 8.9mm thick body.

Along with 4GB of expandable internal storage, it will have 1 GB RAM, 4G LTE support, and a 1,850 mAh battery. The J1 will launch running Android 4.4 KitKat.The new smartphone’s dimensions are 129 x 68 x 8.9 mm, and it weighs 123g. It’s unclear when the Galaxy J1 will be made official, but at this point we’re betting you’ll have to wait until 2015 for that to happen.

Samsung Electronics is also planning to launch a new sub-$100 smartphone running on its Tizen operating system in India this month. Samsung is expected to hold a press conference on this month to launch its Tizen smartphone, to be called the Z1. The device passed FCC certification in October.

Samsung had initially planned to launch a Tizen smartphone in Russia in the third quarter but scrapped the plan. The firm said at the time that it wanted to further enhance the ecosystem behind Tizen. Only a handful of devices, including the firm’s smart watch products currently run on the platform.

Best 5 Android Smartphones Under Rs. 10000 of 2014

The last couple of months have seen a proliferation of smartphones in the sub-10,000 price range. Earlier this range was dominated by cheaper Chinese phones marketed by Indian brands such as Lava, Micromax, Karbonn and others, but with the commoditisation of hardware and more importantly the appeal of a burgeoning Indian market many international brands have launched products to compete in this budget.

Motorola Moto E

Micromax Unite 2

Launched as a competitor for Moto E the Unite 2 offers similar specs as the Moto E but offers a bigger screen of 4.7 inches but with lower resolution. It also gives you a slightly better 5MP camera than Moto E due to the presence of auto focus and flash, it also offers a front facing camera.

Sony Xperia E Dual

The 3.5 inch smartphone runs on Android ICS operating system. It comes with a 3.2 mega-pixel camera with VGA video facility. It is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm processor and 512 MB RAM. It has a 1530 mAh battery, which promises a talk time of around 6 hours and 12 minutes. It is priced at Rs 9,799.

Lenovo A390

Lenovo A390 comes with a 4-inch display screen with 480 X 800 pixel resolution and is priced at Rs 8,689. The phone runs on Android ICS operating system. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Mediatek processor and 512 MB RAM. It has an internal memory of 4GB which is expandable to 32GB though a microSD card. The phone comes with a 5 mega-pixel camera and a 1500 mAh battery.

HTC Desire 310

A smartphone from HTC makes to our list. Desire 310 is a 4.5-inch Android smartphone which comes with 1.3 Ghz quad core processor. The processor which is provided with HTC Desire 310 is good however you will only get 512 MB Ram with your HTC Desire 310. This is a dual sim smartphone by HTC which sports a 5 mega pixel camera lens at the rear with no flash and a 0.3 mega pixel front camera. You will get Android Jelly Bean with the device. HTC Desire 310 is available for Rs 9,388.
